STEP 1

Gather your Tools

You'll need a pencil, measuring tape, screwdriver and/or an electric drill.

Having an extra pair of hands can be helpful for positioning and alignment.

STEP 2

Mark Your Mount Position

Choose the desired location above your window or outdoor frame.

Mark the screw locations with a pencil, ensuring your mounts will be evenly spaced from the frame or structure's edge.

STEP 3

Drill Holes and Insert Anchors

If mounting on drywall, check for hidden pipes or cables before drilling. Drill to a depth of 32 mm and insert wall anchors. For wooden structures, anchors are not necessary.

Confirm best practices when mounting to other surfaces.

STEP 4

Secure the Brackets

Attach the end brackets using the provided screws, making sure they're firmly in place.

Find the middle point between the two end pieces and secure your third support bracket.

STEP 5

Assemble the Rod

Connect the three-piece rod together.

The rod with the smallest diameter is the middle piece.

STEP 6

Attach the First Finial

Screw one finial into one end of the assembled curtain rod.

STEP 7

Add Curtains

Slide the curtains onto the end of the rod without the finial.

STEP 8

Mount and Secure the Rod

Thread the second finial to the other end of the rod.

Place the assembled rod onto the brackets and tighten the thumb screws to secure in place.
